Horizonte Airways is a full service airline flying to destinations across Brazil and Central America. It currently operates 3rd and 4th Generation 737s, 767s, 787s and E-jets. Waves depart at 0000, 0800, and 1600, local time. Aircraft are set up in a three-class system, making Horizonte the only airline in Brazil to offer a true first class. Luxury is a top priority at Horizonte. As of 09OCT2024, Horizonte Airways flies to 122 airports in 35 countries.

History: Horizonte began operations utilizing the 737-300 and 400, expanding initially to A-300 and 310s for longer international routes. Embraer 175s were adopted as the network expanded to airports with smaller runways and lower demand. As the international circuit required longer ranges than the A-300s could provide, they were replace with the Boeing 767 series aircraft, which were on average only about five years newer, but had a significantly longer maximum range. Horizonte then began to modernize it's short and medium-haul fleet, purchasing 737-800s used, and procuring 737 MAX aircraft. The E-190 E2 was then added to the fleet to enhance small airport performance. During a scheduling overhaul in June 2024 which changed the airline's structure from four to three waves at all hubs (due to the ranges involved), the 737 classic was retired in favor of newer aircraft. The 767 is currently being phased out in favor of 787 Dreamliners on long-haul and high-demand domestic routes. Horizonte is currently the largest airline in South America.
