22.12.2023 - Christmas 2023 Update:
- Are you tired of crowded airports, long queues and loud noises? ROMAIR started operating to major airports in Europe in alternative waves. Use this chance and fly even more often to other European hubs.
- ROMAIR and Dream Flyers are now even closer! ROMAIR provides flights to more alliance partners: Tokyo (HND) and Berchi Wings, Mexico City (MEX) and Aeromexicana aswell as Sao Paulo (GRU) and Liberdade.
- Use the first destinations out of the ROMWORLD program as the perfect christmas gift! ROMAIR provides connections to the following destinations with the all new B787-8 and a completely new expirience inside the cabin: Delhi (DEL | India), Tokyo (HND | Japan), Sao Paulo (GRU | Brasilia), Fuerteventura (FUE | Spain), Mexico City (MEX | Mexico) and Lagos (LAO | Nigeria).

09.12.2023 - December 2023 Update:
- ROMAIR finished the fleet renovation program "AIRFIT23" succesfully. Our whole fleet is now under 1 year old. Thank you for all your patience with shortly changed flights and aircrafts!
- ROMAIR is flying with over 100 aircrafts to over 140 destinations all over the world. In addition, ROMAIR increased frequencies to many places all over the world, especially in western Europe and the Arabic part.
- Furthermore, ROMAIR announced today new aircraft orders: 10x A321LR and 7x B787-8. With these aircrafts, ROMAIR starts its newest program "ROMWORLD". The main goal is to create connections all over the world out of Bucharest. ROMAIR proudly presents the first new destination: Dakar (DSS) in Senegal! With the newest member of Dream Flyers - Siggi Air - ROMAIR provides new possibilities to many destinations in Western Africa.

14.08.2023 - AIRFIT23:
- ROMAIR is trying to offer the best service for all of our customers. For this reason, the board of ROMAIR started the fleet renovation program "AIRFIT23". In this post, we explain you all the details known so far about this program.
- ROMAIR will get rid of all their turboprop aircrafts, more precisely the Dash8. Most of these operations will be taken over by our A220 fleet. With this change, we can improve travelling time a lot and offer also a more quite and more spacious experience. Furthermore, all these routes will have an improvent in capacity.
- Our oldest fleet - the MD80 / MD90 - helped us a lot in the beginning. But it is already time to say goodbye. Their routes will be served with our brand new A320neo fleet. With this change, we can improve the experience like with the Dash8 flights a lot: More space, more capacity, less noise and faster travelling. Also, selected routes of the Dash8 will be served with our A320neo fleet due to the high demand.
- Last a new announcement: For all flights out of Cluj (CLJ) or Timisoara (TSR), ROMAIR Group will create a new airline: ROMconnect. With this step, we will be able to offer direct point-to-point service with fair prices. More about this project later this year.

01.08.2023 - Monthly update:
- ROMAIR increased his presence all over Europe. With many new destinations in the eastern part and selected cities in the western part, Bucharest get as many connections as never before.
- In the middle east, ROMAIR upgrades its presence and flyes now to 9 destinations.
- Many direct connections are now served out of our minor hubs Cluj (CLJ) and Timisoara (TSR). Now it is even more confortable flying out of the west or the north of Romania with the good service known from us!
- With now over 50 airplanes, ROMAIR started its fleet renovation program called "AIRFIT23". Selected destinations all over Europe already can feel the difference flying with our new A320NEO. ROMAIR will inform later in the year about details of AIRFIT23.
- And last: Sad news arrived us yesterday in the late evening. Our main competitor in Bucharest (OTP) had to stop operations immediately. Our aggressiv growth over the past few weeks was just too strong. We wish for all employees the best and we will help flying all Romanians back home.
