In December 2023 it was decided to start long-haul operations, the first flight took place with a Boeing 767 on the GE1 from TBS to JFK.
Georgian will build up more long-haul destinations in nearest future thus further strengthen the TBS station as a Main Hub.

The fleet in Tbilisi has begun to be completely renewed. The current fleet of Boeing 737 and ATR will be replaced by Airbus A320 Neo in TBS. The old fleet will be used to set up a hub in Batumi and Kutaisi.
At the same time, Georgian also decided to invest in the product and is introducing First Class on short-haul flights in order to meet the premium airline standards.

Georgian decided to set up the hubs in Batumi and Kutaisi as of April 1, 2024.

Georgian International has officially announced the founding of the subsidiary airline Georgian Lynx. which will conduct the first flight of KUT-LUX on April 24th.
Georgian Lynx will initially serve all three international airports in the country with regional jets. With a focus on BUS and KUT Airports. In TBS, however, the new airline will support Georgian Int. & its main Hub with connecting Passangers from regional and smaller airports.
The Headquarter of Georgian Lynx will be in Batumi with its own AOC.

On July 9, 2024, the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner was added to the fleet. Georgian Int. is thus setting an example for fleet renewal, also on long-haul routes. The plan is initially for 20 Airbus 321LRs and 20 Boeing 787s Dreamliner to replace the older aircraft on long-haul flights.
